AAMVA PACE Awards

Recognize public relations, public affairs and consumer education excellence among the motor vehicle, law enforcement and traffic safety agencies across North America.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all AAMVA members in good standing. Entries for the 2009 Award must have been produced between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2009. No entry may be submitted for judging in more than one subcategory. No more than one entry per subcategory, per agency.

Judging Criteria

Each entry is judged on how well it meets its objective, creativity and quality of production. Judges review each entry and award up to 100 points per judge per entry. Judges reserve the right not to award a winner in a category.

Note: Entries must score at least 250 out of 300 cumulative points from all three judges to be eligible for an International Award.

About the Judges

All entries are judged at AAMVA headquarters by a panel of public relations and communications practitioners from outside the AAMVA community.

Awards Presentation

Regional and international winners are determined in each subcategory by ranking the totaled scores for each entry. Regional awards are presented at AAMVA regional conferences in the summer. International awards are presented at the Annual International Conference.
