Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) Computer System Upgrade - SGI is upgrading its vehicle registration computer system in February, 2010. In order to implement the new system, SGI issuing offices will only provide limited services from the evening of Feb. 12 through Feb. 17, 2010. From Feb. 13-17, Saskatchewan IRE will be unavailable, and no driver closeouts will be processed. As we upgrade the system, there may be delays following implementation as staff and issuers become accustomed to the new system.
