Jack Ganje is used to driving down the road and being laughed at.
But it's not actually Ganje people are laughing at. It's his license plate.
Ganje's truck has a personalized plate that reads NO BUL. It's also a bumper sticker for his company Universal Semen Sales, so an astute passerby will notice that the license plate refers to no bull being needed to impregnate a cow.
Ganje has anther truck with plates that read BULWHAT.
Ganje initially got the personalized plates because "everybody in Montana has personalized license plates it seems like."
But the plates are also great advertising, he said. They make people laugh and help people remember the company.
Montana does rank high for personalized license plates with almost one in 10 vehicles driving down the road sporting plates with some sort of unique phrase on them.
Only Virginia, New Hampshire, Illinois and Nevada outrank Montana for the percentage of vehicles with personalized plates, according to the American Association of Motor Vehicles.
