    Commercial Driver's License Information System (CDLIS) A nationwide computer system that enables state driver licensing agencies (SDLAs) to ensure that each commercial driver has only one driver’s license and one complete driver record. Read More >
    Commercial Skills Test Information Management System (CSTIMS) An Internet-based tool that provides a consistent way to track the scheduling and entry of test results for commercial skills tests by jurisdiction and third-party examiners. Read More >
    Driver and Vehicle Data Online Access (DVD) A system that provides access to driver and vehicle records to approved third-party service providers. It is an electronic means for jurisdictions to sell their records using approved third-party service providers. Read More >
    Electronic Driver License (EDL) A program that allows individuals to update their driver licenses or identification cards over the Internet, by Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) or other electronic means established between a jurisdiction and its qualified business partner. Read More >
    Problem Driver Pointer System (PDPS) A system that is used to search the National Driver Register (NDR), which is maintained by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This is a repository of information on problem drivers provided by all U.S. jurisdictions. Read More >

    Driver License and ID Card Data Verification (DLDV) A data system that verifies DL/ID credential data against the databases of the issuing Motor Vehicle Agencies (MVA). The system supports AAMVA members' goal of curbing identity theft and documentation fraud.

    Records and Information from DMVs for E-Verify (RIDE) An initiative that automates verification of motor vehicle documents between MVAs and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) E-Verify (employment verification) program. The voluntary program allows E-Verify employers to verify their new employee's driver’s license, permit, or state-issued ID with the issuing U.S. jurisdiction. Read More >
