It is with great pleasure that I extend an invitation to attend the 2009 Region IV AAMVA conference to be held at the Fairmont Château at Lake Louise Alberta. The conference is from June 29 to July 1, with fly in on June 28, 2009 and fly out on July 2, 2009.
Our conference theme, "Partnerships * Service * Safety * Security", underscores the importance of working together to ensure our goals are met and our highways are safe. True success is all about partnerships, and I'm confident this conference will afford the opportunity for attendees to learn from each other. The conference team is putting together a dynamite agenda which will cover a plethora of today's hot DMV and law enforcement topics.
We are once again formatting the conference much like a series of workshops with many opportunities to interact and share information during our many breakout sessions. As work on the conference progresses, we will update this page of the AAMVA Web site. Here, you will be able to view the agenda, explore details about the location and register for the conference.
The Fairmont Chateau at Lake Louise will provide a truly spectacular setting as we share information, learn about new and innovative programs and network. The Chateau is located in the heart of pristine Banff National Park and within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey to the treasured Chateau is a scenic drive featuring unparalleled vistas of soaring mountains, roaring rivers and abundant wildlife; just two hours from Calgary via the Trans Canada highway. The hotel is offering our conference a rate of $159 three days prior and three days after the conference, so consider bringing your family and extending your stay to enjoy the many activities in the area.
