Jurisdictional Travel Assistance
The Regional Travel Grant Program will again be available to assist those who would not otherwise be able to attend due to budget constraints. The Region IV Board has allocated funding for travel assistance and those interested in receiving assistance should complete a Travel Grant Application. Submit completed forms to Sheila at sprior@aamva.org by May 1.
Charity Auction
Region IV is pleased to continue the tradition of a silent auction. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Peace Officers Memorial Fund. Your contribution to the auction through your donation of an item for bidding is appreciated. You can drop off your donation at the conference office at the Hilton. If you prefer to mail your donation prior to arrival, please contact Sheila Prior for details (by phone at 480-275-4584 or by e mail at sprior@aamva.org).
Best Practices/What's Hot
We are once again collecting Best Practices and What’s Hot. Shell documents have been created to make submission simple. Please provide this information to Sheila by June 4. A compilation of the information will be provided to conference attendees.
Memorials
We will be remembering colleagues who have passed away since we met in Big Sky. Please provide information on those who should be remembered by June 1. Include the person’s name, his/her role in the agency and date of death. If you have a photograph or other information you’d like included, please send that along as well. Submit information to Sheila at sprior@aamva.org.
Exhibiting
Don’t miss this opportunity to ‘show your wares’ to Administrators and Managers in the Region. Make some terrific contacts and identify invaluable sales leads. The Sponsor/Exhibitor Reception on Monday night provides an outstanding opportunity to visit with jurisdictional representatives in a relaxed environment. Most of the breaks and meals will be held in the exhibit hall thereby maximizing your exhibit dollars and efforts. Those interested in exhibiting should submit a completed Exhibitor Application /Contract. Check out the exhibit hall floor plan to see who’s already making plans to exhibit. (link to floor plan)
QuickConnect
Exhibitors and qualified sponsors are eligible to participate in QuickConnect - the hottest activity to come along at an AAMVA conference in years. Jurisdictional representatives will be seated around the room and industry participants will have the opportunity to spend approximately six and a half minutes with each assigned jurisdiction to discuss products and services, projects, etc. All exhibitors and those providing a minimum of $2,000 in sponsorships are eligible to participate. QuickConnect registration is required by June 1.
