New York State is honored to host the 2006 Region I Conference of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators and it is my pleasure to invite you and your guests to attend the conference at the Wind Watch Hotel in Hauppauge, New York from July 20 - July 25, 2006.
Our Conference Theme "Driving Toward Security" highlights the profound administrative and technological challenges that have surfaced in every jurisdiction in relation to identification and security issues. Meeting the demands placed on us by government and consumers without sacrificing good customer service continues to be one of the most trying issues of our time. These challenges will continue and are likely to intensify as time passes.
