A business partner is any entity that does business with a jurisdiction. For the BPEVR application, dealerships, fleet operators, and any other entity that submits applications for registration or title to the jurisdiction may be partners.
Business partners may choose to contract with a service provider for some or all of the BPEVR functions. For example, a dealership could contract with XYZ Service Provider to transmit its applications for registration and title to and from the jurisdiction. If a service provider is used by the dealership or fleet operator, both the dealership (or fleet operator) and the service provider are business partners of the jurisdiction.
