Background
AAMVA is a member-driven association. A strong volunteer base is critical to our mission. Volunteers from our membership guide our policies and procedures. They also help us identify products and services that make your jobs easier. AAMVA continues to identify jurisdiction members that would like to serve as volunteers for committee activities. By submitting your name, you will be considered among the pool of applicants to serve as a committee or working group member.
AAMVA has three standing committees, Driver, Enforcement and Vehicle comprised of one representative each from ten discipline areas:
-
Customer Service Delivery
-
Driver License and Control
-
Financial Responsibility
-
Information Technology
-
Law Enforcement
-
Legal Services
-
Motor Carrier Services
-
Public Affairs and Consumer Education
-
Vehicle Registration and Titling and
-
Vehicle Safety Inspection.
For more information on the standing committees and what they do, please visit the committee section of the AAMVA web page.
