Organizational Liaisons
Master plan activity covers the cost of attending a variety of meetings with sister law enforcement organizations including the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), the National Sheriffs Association (NSA), the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), National Odometer Title Fraud Enforcement Association (NOTFEA), and the International Association of Financial Crime Investigators (IAFCI). This project also provides for interaction with federal agencies supporting the Law Enforcement Discipline efforts including the U.S. Secret Service, FBI, INS and others.
Awards
The Law Enforcement Discipline is responsible for oversight of three awards recognizing a persons, jurisdictions and organizations who are dedicated efforts to highway safety and the reduction of highway fatalities. The two awards include recognizing the greatest reduction in highway fatalities by a jurisdiction and the Martha Irwin Distinguished Service Award for Safety.
