AAMVA University is currently accepting registrations for the Fraudulent Document Recognition (FDR), Level II course which takes place February 12-15, 2007 in Arlington, Virginia. This four-day classroom course helps participants see how they can contribute to fraud prevention efforts. This course combines the material from FDR Level I with a more in-depth look at covert security features. Participants will engage in hands-on experience evaluating various documents using UV lights and magnification loupes to enhance and further build their awareness of altered and/or counterfeited documents. The cut-off date for registering for this course is Friday, Jan. 26, 2007.
Only courses taught by AAMVA University faculty will be eligible for continuing education units (CEUs). Successful completion of this course meets the prerequisite for enrolling in the 5-day FDR Instructor Certification course.
