The AAMVA Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Neil Schuster has been named as President & CEO. Neil comes to AAMVA with more than 24 years of experience in association management in the transportation arena. Prior to his selection, Neil served as President & CEO of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America, where he led the organization through a time of change and developed a long-term strategy that met the needs of members and stakeholders.
Prior to ITS America, Neil held senior level positions at the International Bridge, Tunnel & Turnpike Association, Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association and the American Waterways Operators. He is also actively involved in the American Society of Association Executives and the Center for Association Leadership.
We were fortunate to have many well-qualified candidates apply for this position, and Neil stood at the top. The association will certainly benefit from his vast experience. Neil brings much enthusiasm and vision to the AAMVA community. He assumes his new role on August 1st.
