Saint John is a two-hour flight from Toronto, a one-hour flight from Montreal and a 45-minute flight from Halifax. Air Canada provides several daily direct flights to and from Toronto, Montreal and Halifax.
The Saint John Airport is located approximately 10 miles from the centre of the city. New Brunswick staff is available Thursday, August 26 - Saturday, August 28 to transport you from the airport to the hotel. If you would like to have the staff meet your flight, please email Sophie Surette with your flight number and arrival time.
Diamond Taxi provides shuttle service to and from the Hilton Saint John and the Delta Brunswick. Diamond Taxi has extended our attendees a discounted rate of $15.00 per person each way. We recommend making your reservations for both your arrival and departure at the same time. Make a reservation by email or call 506.648.8888. Be sure to indicate that you are with the AAMVA conference when making your reservations AND when paying the shuttle driver.
Saint John is a 90-minute drive from the U.S. border at Calais, Maine; 5 hours from Portland, Maine; 8 hours from Boston, Massachusetts; 4 hours from Halifax, Nova Scotia; and 10 hours from Montreal, Quebec. Saint John is a 3-hour ferry ride from Digby, Nova Scotia.
Some Annual International Conference attendees are planning to fly into/out of Bangor or Portland, Maine. Bangor is approximately a four-hour drive and Portland is approximately a five-hour drive. If you are planning to arrange your schedule to fly into/out of Maine and are willing to provide a ride or need a ride, we’ll put you on our RideShare List!
