AAMVA is saddened to announce that longtime friend of AAMVA, Thomas Seery, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He had a 35-year career at the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, retiring in 1995 as Executive Deputy Commissioner, and followed that with positions in the private sector. After starting his own consulting firm, he finally retired earlier this year. Tom was a vital member of the AAMVA community, and he will be greatly missed.
