Annual Region IV Conference
Big Sky, Montana | June 21 - 23, 2011

I am honored to serve as the host of the 2011 Region IV Conference and hope you
are making plans to join us
in beautiful Big Sky Montana in June. We are working hard to ensure this year's conference is informative,
educational, and exceedingly worthy of your time. The program will focus on relevant and timely topics of
importance to us all.
Each year we make modifications to the program in an attempt to improve the Regional Conference experience.
I want to share a couple of changes planned for 2011. The first is a Jurisdictional Showcase, during
which we will ask each jurisdiction in attendance to present information on their current and future
projects, as well as their challenges. The other is QuickConnect. First tried by Region III this
past October and wildly successful, QuickConnect (first called Speed Dating) provides a quick opportunity
for industry and jurisdictions to connect in a controlled setting. Check back frequently for updates
on conference planning activities.
I hope to see you in Big Sky in June!

WHAT TO EXPECT
We'll roll up our shirt sleeves and review best practices, hear from jurisdictional colleagues
about what's new,
what's working and what isn't. This meeting is a great opportunity for
administrators and managers to meet with
their peers and discuss the day-to-day issues they face.
We are updating information regularly so check back frequently for updates!
