Harvard Fellowship

The AAMVA Board of Directors and the Industry Advisory Board are pleased to announce the call for applications for the AAMVA/Nick Denice Memorial Fellowship awards to the John F. Kennedy School of Government's Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program.

The Program

The John F. Kennedy School of Government is Harvard University’s professional school serving the public sector. Its mission is to enable current and future public servants to develop the skills required to meet the real-world challenges of leadership, governance, policymaking, politics and organizational effectiveness. Located on Harvard University’s campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the school provides a stimulating environment that allows participants to maximize their learning experience.

The Curriculum

Today’s government officials are under more pressure to take on increasingly complex issues with fewer resources, under a great degree of scrutiny, all in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The John F. Kennedy School of Government’s Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government at Harvard University helps you meet these challenges. As a participant, you will:

  • develop new conceptual frameworks for addressing policy issues,
  • explore the relationship between citizens and government,
  • examine the ethical and professional responsibilities of leadership, and
  • exchange ideas with experienced faculty and participants from diverse backgrounds.

This intensive three-week program explores strategies, political management, policy analysis and leadership.
