Learning Strategy

AAMVA's fraud learning strategy is to provide training that helps individual employees gain new knowledge, develop new skills and help support Chief Administrators and the jurisdictions to achieve their mission of:

  • Effective and secure driver licensing
  • Effective and secure vehicle titling and registration
  • Improving highway safety
  • Collaboration with law enforcement

Learning Philosophy

People learn best by doing; this is what we call learner-centered instruction, and it is the way we design all of our training programs. Our programs are designed to be interactive and focus on ensuring that participants learn new skills. When you leave a training session, you should be able to use your acquired knowledge, skills and abilities back on the job to improve your performance.

To ensure this occurs, AAMVA's fraud courses are evaluated not only in terms of your learning experience, but also on your ability to apply the skills on the job.
