Certified Commercial Examiner (CCE) Program

The Certified Commercial Examiner (CCE) program is one of three core model programs offered under the International Driver Examiner Certification (IDEC) program.  This program was first offered in 1997 to assists member jurisdictions with training their commercial driver license (CDL) examiners.  The testing and licensing of commercial drivers, those licensed for the first time and those whose commercial licenses are being renewed or reinstated, requires a high degree of quality, uniformity and reliability. Instructors have a responsibility to provide CCE candidates with the tools to become safety professionals.

A downloadable version of the 2005 Certified Commercial Examiner (CCE) Program Overview is now available.
