Mission
Establish AAMVA as a key player in the motor carrier services community, by meeting membership needs and addressing the core areas of relationship building by enhancing services, improving communications, promoting uniform and efficient motor carrier operations and promoting safety and security related programs.
Goals and Objectives
- Establish and build relationships, coalitions and partnerships
- Respond to and support membership needs
- Work to improve AAMVA’s image as a Safety organization
- Work to improve highway safety
- Work with Law Enforcement partners to improve safety and security
- Enhance communications
- Encourage participation in National motor carrier programs
- Encourage, promote and support participation in Federal programs (ie, CVISN, PRISM, etc.)
- Work to achieve uniformity in motor carrier processes
- Encourage industry participation in motor carrier services activities
