The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles will begin issuing a redesigned Certificate of Title and Salvage Title on Aug. 21, 2006. The significant changes reflected in the new design are:

The size of the title has increased to 8” x 11,” including the tear-off mailing tab

The title will now display up to four brands

The title will now have a printed bar code per AAMVA standards, and

Additional lines have been added to capture the customer’s Nevada Driver’s License number, Identification Card number, or their FEIN
Additionally, a new Non-Repairable Vehicle Certificate began production on July 1, 2006. The Non-Repairable Vehicle Certificate is now printed on green paper stock with a blue border. Examples of the new documents can be viewed on the Nevada DMV's Web site. Previously issued Certificates of Ownership are still valid.
