DVD gives third party service providers electronic access to a jurisdiction's driver and vehicle records. It is an electronic means for jurisdictions to sell their records using approved third-party service providers.
Participants
Massachusetts is in production with seven separate service providers: Agency Records, American Driving Records, Choice Point, DAC Services, Insurance Information Exchange, Softech International, and TML Information Services. Massachusetts is continuing to promote the application to third party vendors who may also become trading partners.
State legislation in Texas may also allow this jurisdiction to begin using the application. Several other jurisdictions and service providers have expressed an interest in this application and are currently reviewing the System Specifications.
