The Connecticut Local Tax Collectors, has a Master Account with AAMVA, under which numerous End User Accounts have been established. The Master Account ID is CTX1.
CTX1 End Users are provided with a fast and secure connection via the Passport software. Passport is an AT&T licensed software product that runs on your PC. When you dial in using this service, you connect into the AT&T Global Network. AAMVA provides Customer Services and Network Services support for all of our subscribers.
End User accounts are available for a one-time enrollment fee of $50, plus a monthly service fee, per user ID of $10. Additional charges will apply based on the products and services you choose (i.e., IP remote access, Information Exchange, Corporate Internet Dial, etc.). How Do I Subscribe?
Please complete the AAMVA Customer Registration form and Connecticut Subscription form. Send them to AAMVA at the address stated on the forms.
Upon acceptance of your completed registration and Connecticut Subscription forms, AAMVA's Product Development Division will set-up an End User Account for you. You will be notified by one of AAMVA's Product Development Divisons customer service representives when your account has been set up. AAMVA will also provide you with the account name, user ID and password needed to log onto the network.
You will then follow the CT Tax Collectors Association Procedures for on line access to Department of Motor Vehicles.
