  • AAMVA's 2013 Workshop & Law Institute is your premier opportunity to network with colleagues from other member jurisdictions across the U.S. and Canada as well as with industry organizations that provide the products and services you may be looking for.

Come ready to give feedback on best practices from the Registration and Insurance Card Standardization Working Group and to learn more about the Best Practices Guide to Reducing Suspended Drivers that is being finalized in early 2013. Join the discussions on internet vehicle sales and participate in an interactive discussion on CDL issues including medical certification, CDL learner's permit and testing, and military waivers. In addition, session content integrates legal aspects into the discussions so jurisdictions can prepare for, anticipate, and offer legal responses to the issues facing agency administrators. Legal representatives will have the opportunity to satisfy some of their Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements through attendance and application with their home jurisdiction's credentialing organization.

    Who Should Attend the Workshop?

    • Front-line managers of motor vehicle and law enforcement agencies
    • Legal services professionals responsible for motor vehicle and law enforcement matters
    • Private industry safety partners
