    • Protecting Your Customers’ Data 
      In this digitized world, protecting our data is more challenging. Balancing the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) responsibilities with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is more complex. How do you gain the public trust in protecting their personal information? If DMV data is compromised, what can you expect? What do you do when DMV data is used by other state agencies or organizations?

    • E-titling and E-odometer 
      This is a discussion of the Roadmap to Electronic Odometer Disclosure, A Guidance Document from the E-Odometer Task Force and the steps jurisdictions can take now to prepare for the future of electronic odometer disclosure and electronic titling.       Getting customer feedback is an important part of keeping a pulse on your performance. Many jurisdictions have excellent programs in place to gather this information, but then it sits on the shelf. This session gives an overview of how the Idaho Department of Motor Vehicles has put that valuable information to use in ways that their customers notice.

    • Automatic Voter Registration 
      This session offers a unique look into the motor voter program that may provide you with greater insight and possible solutions for your agency. We will discuss what role of the DMV plays, the lessons learned, and trends across the country.

      In this session, you will get updates on mDL pilots within Region 4 and hear about the public’s response and challenges and opportunities associated with those pilots for DMVs and law enforcement. 

    • Transportation Funding Alternatives
      Learn what jurisdictions are doing to overcome transportation funding challenges, including road usage programs, registration fees, and innovative pilot programs based around incentivizing the public to participate. Join this discussion about engaging the public and educating stakeholders on your program.

    • Bridging the Gap: DMVs and Prisons
      This session provides an overview on how two jurisdictions partner with correctional facilities to assist eligible inmates in obtaining their identification credential prior to being released. They will share their challenges, lessons learned, and how this has helped those within the inmate release programs.

Also hear updates on jurisdictional activities related to automated vehicles.
