    Rate and Reservations 

    AAMVA Region 1 group rate at The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina is $118 plus tax (currently 13.50%). The rate is available three dates prior to and three days after the conference based on availability. Make your hotel reservation for The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina online or call 877-803-7534.  If you call the hotel directly be sure to reference the AAMVA Region 1 Conference.  The hotel reservation deadline is Thursday, April 18, 2019. AAMVA is unable to secure additional rooms after the reservation deadline date.

    Getting to Cambridge

    Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
     is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf, Spa and Marina.

    AAMVA has arranged a discounted rate of $54 one-way with Bayrunner Shuttle. Bayrunner Shuttle offer services seven times daily with trips starting at 8:30 am and concluding at 8:30 pm.     Travel Assistance Available

    The Region 1 Board of Directors has again authorized travel assistance in the amount of $2,500 for each Region 1 jurisdiction. The assistance can be used to cover travel, registration and/or hotel. All arrangements for hotel and travel should be made and paid for by the jurisdiction attendee(s). After the conference, jurisdictions requesting reimbursement for expenses should coordinate internally and bundle and submit all travel assistance expense reports at one time (not to exceed $2,500), after the conference to financeap@aamva.org.

    Administrator and AAMVA Region 1 President, Chrissy Nizer, has chosen The Leukemia Lymphoma Society as the charity of choice for the 2019 AAMVA Region 1 Conference in Cambridge, Maryland. Chrissy Nizer  invites AAMVA members and conference attendees to join her in the fight against blood cancers by donating to LLS to support their mission to cure blood cancers.
