  • AAMVA COVID-19 Health and Safety In-Person Meeting Protocol

As AAMVA returns to in-person meetings, the health and safety of our members and staff are paramount. To promote the safety of our attendees, we will be piloting the following Health and Safety In-Person Meeting Protocol throughout the Region 3 Conference.

COVID-19 Vaccination Required– All persons attending the Region 3 Conference must be fully vaccinated as of the first day of the event (fully vaccinated is "at least two weeks have passed since receiving the final dose of an FDA-authorized COVID vaccine”). Guidance for submitting proof of vaccination will be provided. AAMVA will treat the information confidentially.

Attendee Limits– To allow an appropriate amount of social distance among attendees in meeting rooms, non-jurisdiction attendees will be limited to two (2) representatives per company/organization. Companies/Organizations that wish to have more than two (2) representatives can be added to a waitlist, should space open up.  Please email events@aamva.org with the subject line ‘Region 3 Conference waitlist’ to be added.
Masks Required– All conference participants must wear a mask in meeting rooms or in any other indoor settings, when not actively eating or drinking. Masks may also be removed when presenting more than 6 feet away from other attendees.
Social Distancing– Seating will be physically distanced as much as space will allow in meeting rooms.
Meals– Group meals will be outdoors and/or socially distanced as much as possible. To-go meals will be provided to attendees who prefer not to participate in group meals.

COVID-19 positive test results – If any attendee tests positive within two weeks after the meeting, we request that you email events@aamva.org to inform us so that we can assist with contact tracing.
