    Deputy Secretary, Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles

    Patty Morneault is the Deputy Secretary of State for Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. She began her public services career with the bureau in October of 1989 as a customer service representative. During her tenure with the bureau, she has had the fortunate opportunity to work in each of the 13 branch office locations, a few of the mobile locations and currently is working out of the central office located in the state capitol of Augusta. These past experiences provided her a comprehensive overview and understanding of the customer demographics and staffing needs located throughout the state. 

    She is a Maine native who was born and raised in a small potato farming community in Aroostook County called Fort Fairfield where her parents, siblings and family still reside. She currently lives in Turner with her partner, Sandy. When Patty is not working, she enjoys spending her downtime within the great state of Maine and doing outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and snowshoeing.
