AAMVA's three primary discipline standing committees, Driver, Law Enforcement, and Vehicle meet twice a year in breakouts and combined and hold conference calls as needed to provide programmatic guidance to meet the goals and objectives set by the International Board of Directors. Standing committee members make recommendations for conference session topics and new subcommittees and working groups to develop the guidance and resources used by AAMVA members in their business. In addition, standing committees for programs meet regularly to provide guidance and oversight for specific program objectives.
