AAMVA was a sponsor and exhibitor at the 2024 Lifesavers Conference from April 7 – 9, 2024, in Denver, Colorado. The Lifesavers Conference closing plenary session, moderated by AAMVA's Director of Law Enforcement Brian Ursino, featured Commissioner Spencer R. Moore, Chair of AAMVA's International Board of Directors; Colonel Matt Packard of the Colorado State Patrol; and Barbara Rooney, Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) Chair. The discussion focused on how their respective organizations enculture the safe systems approach, which is a core principal of the U.S. Department of Transportation National Roadway Safety Strategy.
