AAMVA hosted the 8th National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) Stakeholder Webinar. AAMVA President & CEO Ian Grossman and Chair of the Board Spencer Moore welcomed attendees and reiterated AAMVA and its members support and reliance on NMVTIS. Attendees were provided updates on all NMVTIS program areas, along with an in-depth look at NMVTIS information technology. AAMVA reviewed plans to continuously improve and modernize the system. Representatives from U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the federal agency responsible for NMVTIS, also provided updates on the NMVTIS Law Enforcement Access Tool (LEAT) and junk/salvage and insurance (total loss) reporting program policy and compliance efforts.
