North Carolina will begin using the State-to-State Verification Service (S2S) Driver History Record (DHR) functionality and implement the Medical Examiner Certification Integration Final Rule (NRII) from Monday, June 30, 2025. Tasks related to onboarding NC will be conducted on Sunday, June 29, 2025, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window of 2:00 AM ET to 5:00 AM ET. AAMVA is taking all steps possible to minimize service interruptions and will be sending alerts notifying states of Central Site availability throughout the process. Read more here.
