    Administrator, Wisconsin Division of Motor Vehicles

    Kristina Boardman was appointed Administrator of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) on February 21, 2016. Prior to her appointment as Administrator, Boardman served as Wisconsin DMV Deputy Administrator for three years and the Director of the DMV Bureau of Field Services for five years. During her tenure with the Wisconsin DMV, Boardman has led teams in the implementation of REAL ID as well as administration of the division’s role in Wisconsin’s Voter ID law.

    Before working for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Boardman spent 10 years with the Wisconsin State Assembly, where she served as the committee clerk for the Assembly Committees on Education, Rural Affairs and Forestry, and Transportation.

    Kristina currently serves on the AAMVA Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She also serves as the AAMVA Board representative to the Vehicles Standing Committee and the State to State Governance Board. Boardman is a graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy.
