Dara Blake has served as Director of Office of Customer Records since September 2022. She began her civil service career in 2004 with the City of Detroit as an Internal Auditor and has more than 20 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, Continuous Improvement, Labor Relations, and Financial Reporting. With extensive experience overseeing complex operational units and implementing process improvements, Dara leads the Office of Customer Records in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of Michigan’s vehicle and driver records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Dara holds a Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Dara is the proud mother of a teenage daughter, and together they reside in West Bloomfield.
