Electra Bustle

Electra Bustle has served as Senior Director for the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles, Department of Revenue, since July 2022. She has her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania. Electra Bustle's career spans nearly three decades, showcasing diverse leadership roles across both private and public sectors, with a strong focus on government and law enforcement. 

Electra moved to Colorado in 2016, initially taking a Chief of Staff position with the Colorado Department of Public Safety (CDPS) Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. From 2019 to 2021, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer for the CDPS.

Prior to her work in Colorado, Electra built a comprehensive career in Florida for nearly 30 years. Her diverse experience includes roles such as Deputy General Counsel for the Florida Sheriffs Association, Assistant General Counsel for the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, and significant leadership positions within the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office as General Counsel, Captain, and Major. She also served as Assistant Commissioner with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and was a partner in The Southern Group, a government relations firm, where she represented criminal justice businesses.

Notably, Electra led Florida’s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV), a large department with 4500 employees, encompassing the Florida Highway Patrol, the Division of Driver Licensing, and the Division of Motor Vehicles.
