Mike McCaskill began working for the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles in 2002 as an analyst in the Bureau of Financial Responsibility in the Division of Driver Licenses. In July of 2003, he was promoted to the chief of driver license records and went on to hold the positions of deputy director of the Division of Driver Licenses, assistant deputy director of the Division of Motorist Services and the chief administrative officer for the Florida Highway Patrol. Mike also served as the chair of the AAMVA Card Design Standard Committee and the Joint mDL Working Group. Mike is currently the director of Identity Management at AAMVA.
