AAMVA congratulates the District of Columbia, Mississippi, Montana, Ohio, and Washington for successfully implementing the Medical Examiner Certification Integration Final Rule (NRII) solution. All the implementation activities have been completed on schedule, and the CDLIS and S2S services are now fully operational. Starting June 23, 2025, DC, MS, MT, OH, and WA will begin receiving medical certification information electronically from the National Registry, and starting June 30, 2025, Illinois and North Carolina will begin receiving medical certification information electronically from the National Registry.
