Patrice Aasmo, AAMVA’s Director of Member Services for Regions 1 and 2, and Tom Foster, AAMVA’s Law Enforcement Program Manager, spent time with the Kentucky State Police and the Kentucky Department of Vehicle Regulation, Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) last week. Discussions covered a variety of topics and issues, including driver testing and training, commercial driver licenses and commercial motor vehicle enforcement, fraud service delivery and alternative testing methods with state police; system modernization, license plates, fleet registration, insurance verification, reorganizations, appointments, customer experience, budgets, REAL ID and many more topics with KYTC. Much appreciation for both of the Kentucky agency teams for their outstanding hospitality!
