The Governors Highway Safety Association and Waymo have announced an online training for first responders regarding automated vehicles. This training covers the basics of vehicle automation technology, provides details on how first responders can safely engage with these vehicles, and shares specifics on electric vehicle system operation. Members of the AAMVA Automated Vehicle Subcommittee have completed this training and recommend it to anyone responsible for interacting with automated and electric vehicles.
