The AAMVA Card Design Standard Subcommittee is seeking feedback from AAMVA jurisdiction and associate members on an upcoming update to Annex B of the current DL/ID Card Design Standard (CDS). The update is intended to provide standardization for AAMVA jurisdictions that would like to incorporate a cryptographic key signature in the 2D PDF 417 barcode described in Annex D of the CDS. This request for feedback is limited to the digital key signature update; other CDS change requests are out of scope for this update and should follow the normal change request process. AAMVA community members who wish to provide feedback on this pending update should review the update.
