Chair of the Board, Eric Jorgensen has selected the Phoenix Children’s Foundation as the charity to support at the 2025 Annual International Conference. Phoenix Children’s Foundation supports Phoenix Children’s mission to advance hope, healing, and world-class health care for children and their families in Arizona and beyond.
It costs nearly $2.7 million per day to operate Phoenix Children’s. All patients are accepted and about 50 percent of patient families have little or no private medical insurance. Donations to the foundation ensure that all children have access to world-class health care—and that makes all of the difference for kids who are fighting for their lives.
To make fundraising for the Phoenix Children’s Foundation exciting and fun, Eric has decided on a ‘Chance Auction’ as the activity. We are asking exhibitors, sponsors, and jurisdictions to come to the conference with an item that can be raffled off. Attendees will purchase raffle tickets at AAMVA registration and drop ticket(s) into boxes for the item(s) they are interested in winning. The items will be displayed through the Exhibit Hall and ticket sales will remain open for the entire duration of the Exhibit Hall hours. Once the Exhibit Hall closes, items and the raffle tickets will be collected for the drawings. Winners will be announced via the Mobile App on Thursday, September 11, 2025. All proceeds will go directly to the Phoenix Children’s Foundation.
There are a few rules for participating:
- We need to know in advance if you will be donating an item, and you must bring the item with you to the conference.
- AAMVA is unable to ship items to winners, so please consider an item that can easily be packed in a suitcase or carried on the plane back home, unless you are willing to handle the shipping.
- Winners MUST be present at the conference to win and collect their prize.
If you would like to participate by donating an item for the Chance Auction, please fill out the 2025 AIC Charity Donation Form (google form) by Friday, August 29th.
